As a classic Type A personality, I love making lists. I find it calming, grounding and not at all a bit tapped! Whenever I fear that my behaviour is becoming too insular or neurotic, I look to the greats, and as always I found what I was looking for in Nora Eprhon.
Her last book, I Remember Nothing, ended with two lists and they are glorious in their simplicity. Knowing secretly that she had a terminal cancer diagnosis, they were quite simply what she would miss, and not miss about life.
I do not have a life-threatening illness, but at the age of 37 I feel very secure in what I like, and also what I don’t like. In the past, I’ve been guilty of going through the motions of stuff you “should” enjoy, but ain’t nobody got time for that!
Thus, I feel the compulsion to share this list of what I enjoy and what I do not enjoy, so you guys can get to know me a bit better. Any questions, just ask! I see this as an evolved Insta Q&A, if you will.
